Park City, Kansas – July 9, 2012 – The third event of the season for the National Championship Racing Association of Park City, Kansas presented by Precise Racing Products 305 sprint car division takes place this coming Friday night as the tour takes part in their first ever Hutchinson Grand Nationals, atop the Kansas State Fairgrounds in Hutchinson, Kansas.
Brian Herbert comes in as the early season point’s leader during this inaugural season of the tour and holds a ten point lead over Raymond Seemon. Seemon picked up the victory in the season opener back in May.
Zach Blurton currently sits third in the point standings, just forty points out of the lead, while Jason Martin and Kris Miller sit fourth and fifth respectively.
Rounding out the top ten in the point standings and expected to compete are: Josh Fairbank, Kip Hughes, Koby Walters, Luke Cranston and C.J. Johnson. Cranston picked up the victory in the only other feature that has been completed thus far.
Close to twenty drivers are expected to compete for this $1000 to win, 56th annual Hutchinson Grand Nationals event.
The Kansas State Fairgrounds is located off of West of SR 61 on 17th Ave., then north on Poplar. Pit Area Check-In Opens: 3pm. Grandstand Opens: 5pm; Hot Laps: 6pm; Race Time: 7pm. Grandstand Admission: $12.00 Age 11 & up and $5.00 Children 6-10 (All seating is general admission).
