Park City, Kansas – July 17, 2012 – It is a huge double-header weekend for the National Championship Racing Association of Park City, Kansas presented by Precise Racing Products 360 sprint car division with both events “Steve King Foundation Night.” It will all kick off this Saturday night at 81 Speedway in Park City before heading to the Garfield County Fairgrounds and Enid Speedway in Enid, Oklahoma on Sunday night in an event sponsored by Martens Machine Shop out of Fairview.
The point battle for the top of the tour’s point standings is a tight one with defending series champion C.J. Johnson and Jeremy Campbell sitting first and second, no more than twenty points separating both.
Tour regulars expected to compete both nights include sprint car veteran Mike Peters, Marc Robe, Barry Gifford, Jon Freeman, Patrick and Jeff Stasa, Kris Miller, Gavin Punch and Jake Martens. Brodix rookie of the year contenders Zach Blurton, Wyatt Burks, Jordan Weaver and Taylor Milton are also expected.
Those drivers and more along with drivers from the “Sooner State” are expected to attend one or both of these events, both paying $2000 to win and $300 to start the twenty car feature finale.
The Sunday event in Enid is sponsored by Martens Machine Shop and they will give all the sprint car driver’s a little break as their draw will only cost $25.
Four events have been completed thus far this season with Johnson having picked up two feature victories, both coming at 81 Speedway. Campbell is coming off his first career Hutchinson Grand Nationals championship and a special $3000 pay day. The other feature held was won by Jason Johnson.
It has been thirteen years since the NCRA 360 sprint car tour made it’s visit to Enid Speedway and it was Amarillo, Texas sprint car driver Derek Drown picking up the victory back in 2004.
81 Speedway gates open Saturday night at 5pm, Race time is 7. Admission is $10.00 Age 11 and up, $5.00 Children 6 thru 10.

For Sunday night’s Enid Speedway event, gates open at 5:00 pm with racing scheduled for a 7:00 pm start time. Grandstand adult tickets are just $12 while tickets for kids are $5. Pit passes are $25.
