Park City, KS — (September 24, 2012) — The next to last event on the 2012 inaugural season for the National Championship Racing Association or Park City, Kansas presented by Precise Racing Products 305 sprint car division will take place this coming Sunday evening, September 30, at Enid Speedway in Enid, Oklahoma for their first and only appearance of the season.
It will be race number five for the tour that has Brian Herbert of Dodge City, Kansas sitting on top of the current point standings. Zach Blurton of Jetmore, who also leads the series’ rookie of the year standings in the 360 division, is tied for the runner up position with fellow Jetmore resident Raymond Seeman. Seeman picked up the season opening victory at 81 Speedway back in May 5th. Both drivers are just fifty points behind Herbert for the top spot in the point standings.
Sitting fourth in the point standings is Josh Fairbank of Wichita while hometown Enid favorite and second generation driver Kip Hughes sits fifth in the standings.
Rounding out the sixth through tenth in the current point standings are Jason Martin, Kolby Walters, Kris Miller, C.J. Johnson and Luke Cranston. Besides Seeman, other drivers having picked up feature victories on the season include Herbert, Cranston and sprint car veteran Mike Peters.
Gates will open at 4:00 pm with races slated for a 6:00 pm start time.
Enid Speedway is located 2.5 miles north of U.S. Hwy. 412 on U.S. Hwy. 81, then 0.5 mile east on West Oxford (at the Garfield County Fairgrounds).
