Fredrick, MD — (December 17, 2013) — Catoctin Motorsports announced on Monday they will not field a sprint car for the 2013 season. Lance Dewease drove for Catoctin on the Central Pennsylvania sprint car circuit.
Catoctin Motorsports owner Donald E. Owens released the following statement in a press release.
“After 13 years of full time involvement in the sport of motor racing, I have made the very difficult decision to not field a sprint car team for the 2013 season due to other growing business and family commitments,” said Owens in a press release sent out on Monday. “I would like to say a special thanks Lance Dewease and his family for a wonderful relationship over the last six years both on and off the race track.”
Owens also stated he hopes to support Dewease in future endeavors.
