RMMRA Releases 2013 Schedule

Denver, CO — (January 25, 2013) — The Rocky Mountain Midget Racing Association (RMMRA) released their 2013 race schedule. “We have an exciting 2013 race schedule with special events such as the Harry Conklin Memorial at I-76 Speedway on June 1st. Other fun events include shows during county fairs at El Paso and Phillips counties, an Open Wheel Extravaganza in Byers, a Back Row Challenge at Calhan, Fan Appreciation Nights at several tracks, and more fun “in the works”, said Bill Harper, President of the RMMRA.

The RMMRA Board has been busy working to improve midget racing in the Rocky Mountain region over the winter. New efforts to control costs associated with racing midgets include reduced membership fees, an event schedule that reduces travel costs for racers, new cost reducing tire rules, an updated rule book that clearly defines expectations for members and improves our ability to reduce on-track incidents (and associated damage costs).
