With .50 for every general admission ticket sold going into the pot from the speedway itself, an amount just shy of $3,300 was totaled for the ACS.

In its second year at the track, the event raised an amount that surpassed the 2012 total by more than $1,000

Individual donations figured into the total were offered in honor of Mrs. Nancy Aumiller, Mr. Donald Clark, Mrs. Deb Runkle and Ms. Jeannie McCardle as well as in memory of Bill Runkle.

In remembrance of Penny Adams, the late model team of Chad Hollenbeck of Montrose donated $1,000 alone for the second year in a row.

An amount of $300 was achieved and put into the total stemming from the auction of a pink Susan G. Komen Race For A Cure VP Racing Fuels container that was autographed by all drivers in competition.

B and R Farm Equipment of Beavertown and Milroy donated the five-gallon fuel jug.

Throughout the night, Relay For Life teams from the Mifflin/Juniata County Relay For Life raised sponsorship funds at displays set up underneath the grandstand.

The Mifflin/Juniata Relay For Life is slated for June 8 and 19 at Kish Park in Lewistown.
