Ohsweken, ONT – (April 25, 2013) – Race fans will have the opportunity to purchase Ohsweken Speedway special event tickets at Merrittville Speedway’s season-opening event this weekend.
The dirt track racing season starts in Ontario this Saturday, April 27 when Merrittville Speedway hosts the Seaway Mall Spring Sizzler, featuring the Patriot Sprint Tour, Bobcat of Hamilton 358 Modifieds, and Rick’s Delivery Sportsman. Ohsweken Speedway staff will be on hand at Merrittville, with tickets on sale for all of Ohsweken’s 2013 special events. Methods of payment include cash, Visa, or Mastercard.
Events with reserved seating at Ohsweken in 2013 include the North Summer Nationals featuring Tony Stewart on Monday, July 29, the World of Outlaws Sprint Car series “Six Nations Showdown” on Tuesday, July 30, and the 9th annual Canadian Sprint Car Nationals on Friday, September 13, and Saturday, September 14. Tickets for the Bryan Baeumler Meet & Greet BBQ coming up on Friday, May 31 are also available for advance purchase.

Ohsweken Speedway’s 18th season of racing begins on Friday, May 17 with 2013 Opening Night, including 25 lap features for the Corr/Pak Merchandising Sprint Cars, and Affordable Towing & Recovery Thunder Stocks, a 20 lap feature for the HRW Automotive Mini Stocks, and a 15 lap feature for the Gale’s Auto Aftermarket Bombers.

About Ohsweken Speedway: Founded in 1996, Ohsweken Speedway is a motorsports complex which includes a 3/8 (0.375) mile clay oval track. The facility is owned by the Styres family, and located in the village of Ohsweken, Ontario, Canada.
