Pittsburgh, PA — (May 29th, 2013) — After a rather successful weekend racing in Ohio and Indiana with the UNOH All Star Circuit of Champions and the World of Outlaws STP Sprint Car Series, Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania’s Danny Holtgraver will take the next few days to regroup, and prepare himself mentally for another full weekend of World of Outlaws STP Sprint Car Series competition. The pilot of the B&R Racing, Berlin Natural Bakery, Canton
Erectors, Alternative Power Sources, DKW Transport, no. 45 ‘410’ sprint car will spend this Friday and Saturday, May 31st & June 1st, racing with the ‘Greatest Show on Dirt’ in Ohio and Michigan.
“We had a pretty good weekend” said Danny Holtgraver, “We had a pretty decent weekend at Fremont with the All Stars; finishing third on Saturday night before finishing like fifteenth or sixteenth on Sunday…Monday wasn’t too bad either; ended up with a fifteenth or sixteenth place finish against the Outlaws at Lawrenceburg…things are starting to go our way a little more now…we got caught up in a little bit of trouble at Lawrenceburg during the A-main, but other than that, it’s been a pretty clean weekend…I have to thank Rob Hunter and Bryan Grove for all that they do…I couldn’t ask for a better group of owners to race for…they are behind this team one hundred percent…I can’t thank them enough!”
The B&R Racing ‘45’ team, lead by veteran crew chief and team leader Brian Kemenah, will begin their upcoming weekend campaign with the World of Outlaws STP Sprint Car Series on Friday, May 31st at the Attica Raceway Park in Attica, Ohio for the ‘Kistler Engines Classic.’ Danny Holtgraver is a former two-time winner at the high-banked Attica oval; earning an UNOH All Star main event victory at the facility, while also earning a Fremont/Attica Sprint Title (F.A.S.T.) victory at the track. The pilot of the B&R Racing ‘45’ sprinter has never won a World of Outlaws STP Sprint Car Series main event, but wouldn’t mind achieving that goal this Friday at Attica. The winner of this Friday’s 40-lap ‘Kistler Engines Classic’ will earn $10,000; but, since Danny Holtgraver is inside the top-25 of the current Attica Raceway Park ‘weekly’ sprint car driver standings, he qualifies for an extra $10,000 bonus; which will be awarded by the speedway.
“This Friday would be a great time to earn our first win” said Danny Holtgraver, “We have been fast at Attica Raceway Park…there are a few extra bonuses on the line for us too; so hopefully we can qualify decent, get through our heat race, and put ourselves in a great position to win…if any team deserves that, it’s this one…Brian, Chris…these guys work their butts off…hopefully I can return the favor!”
Danny Holtgraver will continue his weekend campaign with the World of Outlaws STP Sprint Car Series on Saturday evening, June 1st at the I-96 Speedway in Lake Odessa, Michigan. The former Lernerville Speedway sprint car track champion will go head-to-head against a very stacked roster of World of Outlaws talent this weekend; including series point leader, Daryn Pittman. This will be the only Michigan appearance for the ‘Greatest Show on Dirt’ in 2013.
