Watsonville, CA — (October 9, 2013) — When Brad Furr signs into the Ocean Speedway on Friday night, the championship for the Ocean Sprints Presented by Taco Bravo will be decided, but fans will still be treated quite the show with a star-studded field expected to be on hand for the Ocean Speedway Champion’s Night.

As the final 360ci race in the area before next week’s Trophy Cup in Tulare, CA, teams from all over the region are expected to show up for one final night of action to get dialed in.

Though the championship will be locked up, Brad Furr will look to rebound from a couple of tough races, and celebrate in style in hopes of winning the season finale.

Bud Kaeding enters the season finale event very hungry, as he saw a very strong run last week end six-laps early after contact while battling for the lead in lapped traffic.

Returning to the speedway again will be last weeks exciting feature event winner, Justin Sanders aboard his potent No. 17 machine, as well as the 2013 Johnny Key Champion, Rico Abreu.

Koen Shaw and Nick Rescino will look to back up their podium finishes from a week ago, and will likely be joined on Friday night by Steven Tiner, Kurt Nelson, Jeremy Chisum, Nick Foster, Jr, Ryan Rusconi, and Andy Forsberg amongst many others.

Joining the Ocean Sprints Presented by Taco Bravo on Champions Night will be the Wingless Sprints, Sport Mods, American Stocks, and the always exciting 4-Bangers.

Ticket prices start at $13 for kids 6-12 years old, while Seniors over 65 or $16 and Adults are $17. If you have a family of four with two adults, and two children, take advantage of our family plan for $55.

The Ocean Speedway would like to thank Taco Bravo, Digital Delivery Networks, Nobel Construction, Get Som Sports, Ray Scheidt’s Electric, Hoosier Tires West, and Kaeding Performance for their support.
