(Torrance, CA, October 30, 2013) Greg Alexander and the Chuck Tyler Motorsports Team are locked & loaded and ready for the prestigious 18th Annual Budweiser Oval Nationals, Presented by All Coast Construction, on November 1st and 2nd.
The Budweiser Oval Nationals is one – if not the biggest – traditional sprint car races in North America. It draws in top drivers from around the nation and Greg Alexander is ready to do battle with them all this Friday and Saturday at the west coast’s premiere dirt track facility. Originally, Alexander had also planned on being in action on Halloween night in the 360 portions of the Oval Nationals, but the Eric Rickard Motorsports #13 could not be ready in time to make the call.

The 24-year-old Torrance, California racer’s last appearance on the famed Riverside County clay oval came in September when he timed in 9th fast, finished 6th in his heat and ended up with a hard fought 8th place finish in the 30-lap main event.
In between that race and the Oval Nationals, Alexander took Tobey Sampson’s “Frankenstein” sprint car to the Ventura Raceway and turned a lot of heads in the grandstands and the pit area. Racing against a field of high dollar cars Alexander dazzled the crowd at his first 2013 appearance at the beach side oval, where he has won main events in the past. After a fifth place finish in his heat, the rising star began the main in the 5th spot and dazzled the crowd by going to the front of the pack on the second lap! He dropped back to third and on lap five and another car took him out bending a bunch of bolt on parts and ending his night with a 15th place finish.
