LAKE HAVASU CITY, Ariz. (Nov. 19, 2013) – Logan Forler is 2-for-2 with one shot remaining.
Forler will wrap up his season on Saturday at Arizona Speedway in Queen Creek, Ariz., where he is undefeated in a pair of ASCS Southwest Region races this season.
“It’s my size of a track – a 3/8 with a lot of banking,” he said. “It reminds me of Eagle Raceway. Except this place is a little more sandy.”
Forler has already captured a career-best eight feature wins, including three in ASCS Southwest Region action.
“It’d be nice to finish the year off with a win,” he said. “It’d definitely be good to go out with a bang.”
Forler said the key to victory is a work in progress all night.
“Just keep your nose clean through the heat races and make sure you make it in the redraw,” he said. “That place usually takes rubber so you have to be the one who finds it first. Racing usually starts around the bottom at the beginning of the night and then up to the top. Then the track starts to take rubber and move its way down the track.”
