(Perris, CA, March 21, 2013) Have you ever sat in the stands at a Major League Baseball game and wished you could sneak down to the dugout to see what goes on during the game? If you tried you probably would leave the stadium in handcuffs. Things will be a little different for the So. Cal Sprint Car Spectacular featuring the legendary STP World of Outlaws, USAC/CRA and PAS Senior Sprint Cars at Perris Auto Speedway on April 12th. Fans who order tickets in advance online or via phone will get a free spectator pit pass so they can see the cars, drivers and crews of the fabled WoO Series in action all night long.

“This is a unique opportunity for all fans,” Perris Auto Speedway promoter Don Kazarian said. “It is good for
fans of all ages including children. They can walk up, meet the drivers and crews, and watch them work on
their cars before, during and after races, get autographs, take photos and buy the teams merchandise. The
Outlaws understand the importance of marketing and they welcome the interaction with the fans during the
shows.”
Another important factor in fans having access to the Outlaw pits is the possibility that Steve Kinser, widely
considered the greatest sprint car driver of all-time, will be making his final Southern California
appearance. The Bloomington, Indiana native has been coming to the Southland since the 1970’s. Over the
winter the 59-year-old racing superstar announced that 2014 would be his last full-time season on the Outlaw
tour. Over the years, the National Sprint Car Hall of Famer has won 20 WoO championships and a mind blowing
576 A main events.
“Steve Kinser’s numbers are staggering,” Kazarian said. “He is undeniably the greatest sprint car driver of all
time and there will probably never be another like him. He is literally the “Babe Ruth of Sprint Car Racing.” For
race fans who have never seen him race, it will be good to come to this event just so they can say they saw him.
And, with the fan pit pass, fans can get up close to him. It may well be their last chance. Missing Steve Kinser is
like missing Michael Jordan in basketball or Wayne Gretzky in hockey.”

Kazarian then continued.
“If Steve Kinser is the “Babe Ruth of Sprint Car Racing,” then Sammy Swindell is “The Lou Gehrig,” he said.
“Who knows how much longer Sammy will be coming west to race. Again, it will be great for fans to come and
meet him with their spectator pit pass, too”
Swindell, who will be 59 in October, is a three time World of Outlaws champion. He has 292 lifetime WoO wins and that ranks second only to Kinser. While the pair has been joined at the hip for decades after being the first true superstars in the series, their rivalry over the years has been one of the fiercest in motorsports.

In addition to Kinser and Swindell, all of the top WoO stars will be on hand including last year’s Perris winner Darryn Pittman of Oklahoma, 5-tiume series champion Donny Schatz of South Dakota, Australia’s Kerry Madsen, Steve Kinser’s oldest son Kraig, Pennsylvania’s Cody Darrah, Joey Saldana of Indiana, Tennessee’s Jason Sides and Californian’s Tim Kaeding, Paul McMahon and Brad Sweet.
Not to be lost is the fact that the show is going to be a historic night of racing not only for Southern California, but
for the entire sprint car world. For the first time ever the World of Outlaws and a USAC 410 sprint car series –
USAC/CRA – will be racing on the same card. Both series will stage complete shows with qualifying,
preliminaries and A-main events. In addition, the fast growing PAS Senior Sprint Cars for drivers 45 and older
will also be in action on the busy racing night,

Camping for all events at The PAS is available for $25.00 per night. The campground will open at noon on Friday. Tailgating in the spectator parking lot will begin at 1:00 PM for all PAS events as well.
