Travis Young shoots for three in Mel Kenyon Midget Series

(Lebanon, IN) In the 2014 Mel Kenyon Midget Series Travis Young has won on the high banked pavement at Anderson Speedway and the flat dirt bull ring at US 24 Speedway.  For the third week in a row he will face a different challenge on the dirt banks of Coles County Speedway in Matoon, IL on Saturday night May 10.

Young will also face a strong challenge from local Charleston, IL favorite and 2013 race winner Cordy Horn.  Horn will be joined by Simpson World Indy Rookie Colton Dooley who calls Coles County his home track as they strive to end Young’s 2014 winning streak.

The Mel Kenyon Midget Series will be making the first of its two trips to Coles County Speedway this Saturday, May 10.  Practice is scheduled for 6:30 with racing to start at 7:30.  All times are Central Daylight Time.
