– Parker Price-Miller was in action with the World of Outlaws, USAC National Dirt Midget Series, and at the Kokomo Speedway over the weekend, and the young driver from Kokomo, IN could not find any luck.

“It was one of those weekends,” Price-Miller said. “Everyone worked hard, but we seemed to have little things hamper us, and then a pretty bad crash on Sunday was just the icing on the cake.”

Wednesday night saw Price-Miller hop aboard his winged Indy Race Parts/Keizer Wheels/CSI Shocks entry to take on the World of Outlaws in Jacksonville, IL.

Timing in 17th fastest, Price-Miller went on to run second in his heat race, and earned a berth into the stout feature event.

Starting in the 15th spot, Price-Miller was able to get as high as the 12th spot as he held his own with some of the best in the business, until a cut left rear tire knocked him out of the event.

Returning to action with the USAC National Dirt Midget Series on Saturday night at the Belle-Clar Speedway, Price-Miller timed in 13th fastest.

A fifth place finish in his heat race forced him into the night’s B Main, where he started and ran second behind eventual race winner, Christopher Bell.

Lining up in the 13th spot for the A, on the short, high banked facility, Price-Miller had his elbows up as he methodically worked his way up to the sixth spot, until issues forced him to the back of the pack at he midway point.

Price-Miller would rally to a 15th place finish.

Hopping aboard his non-wing sprint car on Sunday night at the always exciting Kokomo Speedway, Price-Miller timed his Select Equipment/Wesmar/Triple X entry in third fastest, before he ran third in his heat race to Kevin Thomas, Jr, and Jon Stanbrough.

Starting seventh in the main event, Price-Miller was running inside the Top-10 when he bicycled his machine in turns one and two. Unable to save it, Price-Miller took a nasty tumble that destroyed his machine to end an already tough weekend.

“The silver lining is we were pretty good all three nights,” he said. “We were holding our own with the World of Outlaws, we were moving forward in the midget, and we had a nice run going in a very tough Kokomo feature. Everyone worked so hard all weekend, and hopefully next weekend we can have some good luck.”

Price-Miller and his team would like to thank Indy Race Parts, Keizer Wheels, CSI Shocks, Select Equipment, Wesmar Racing Engines, Toyota, Toyota TRD, and Triple X Race Components for their continued support.

2014 BY THE NUMBERS: Starts-18, Wins-1, Top 5’s-3, Top 10’s-7.

ON TAP: Price-Miller will be in action in Brownstown, IL on Friday night, a double feature at Macon on Saturday, and is hoping to have his car back together for Kokomo on Sunday.
