Wyoming, MI — (May 27, 2014) — Tony Stewart took another step in his recover from injuries suffered in a crash during the Front Row Challenge at Southern Iowa Speedway in 2013. On Monday Stewart conducted a private test of his sprint car at an undisclosed speedway. Stewart revealed the test via his recently activated Twitter account Monday evening.
Stewart indicated that the car has drive line tethers installed to prevent injuries similar to his severely broken leg last year. By all indications the test went well, but there is no announced return for Stewart’s sprint car activities at this time.
