Port Royal – A monstrous night of crowd pleasing racing action is in store on FREE Fan Appreciation/Camera & Autograph Night at Port Royal Speedway this Saturday night, June 14 at 7 pm. The night will also offer general admission access to the pit area until 5:30 pm.
Totally free general admission is being offered for a fantastic seven feature night of sprint car and stock car racing.
There will be no heat races during the bold promotional event as all racing will be comprised of make-up features held over from rain postponements on both May 3 and May 24.
General admission gates will open at 4 pm.
Racing action on the night will include a pair of Aumiller’s Insurance 410 sprint mains, a pair of Enviroman Products/Jake’s Carts super late model features, a pair of River Valley Builders 305 sprint mains and the evening will end with a feature for the Len Krautheim Auto Sales xtreme stocks.
The held over features from the May 24 Fallen Heroes Championships program will be spun off first on the agenda.
The 410 sprints will take to the track to complete the final 16 laps of the May 24 Fallen Heroes Championship with Mike Erdley leading the way in the $5,000 to win affair followed by Rick Lafferty, Dave Ely, Lucas Wolfe and Blane Heimbach.
Up next will be the 25-lap championship for the super late models, paying $2,000 to win followed by the 25-lapper for the 305 sprints.
And then in the same order, the regular mains from the May 3 show will be presented with a 25-lapper for 410 sprints and 20-lap features for the super lates and 305s.
The final race on the program will be the xtreme stock feature event.
ALL GENERAL ADMISSION FOR THE JUNE 14, SEVEN-FEATURES PROGRAM IS FREE.
May 24 pit raincheck wristbands will be honored for pit admission on June 14. Anyone without a May 24 raincheck wristband who wishes to enter the pit area on June 14 will be required to purchase a pit admission at the regular price of $25.
Prior to the races on June 14, The Remnants, a local classic rock and country band, will be performing adjacent to the grandstand to get the night started.
