California, MO — (July 15, 2014) — After being rained out on June 7th, the WAR Series presented by Impact Signs, Awnings, and Wraps will be back in action this Saturday July 19th at the Springfield Raceway in Springfield, MO.
Chad Goff from Spring Hill, KS, leads WAR into Springfield as he holds a ten point advantage over Gladstone, MO’s Chris Parkinson. Josh Stephens of Buckner, MO and the winner of the last WAR race in Grain Valley, MO, sits in third with Higginsville, MO’s Bob Thoman and Kearney, MO’s John Helm rounding out the top five.
The Indigo Sky Casino is offering extra money to the winner which will now pay $1000 to win. The pit gate will open at 4:00 p.m. with the grandstands opening at 5:30 p. m. Following Springfield, WAR will make a trip to Lebanon, MO on Saturday July 26 as part of the Hot Summer Nights at the Midway Speedway. This will be WAR’s second appearance at Midway in 2014.
