World Series Sprintcars management is pleased to announce that the Australian Sprintcar Champion, Dave Murcott, will be a contracted driver in this seasonโ€™s World Series Sprintcars.

The timing is perfect for Murcott to throw his hat into the World Series Sprintcars ring, following an impressive 2013/14 season.

Driving for Horrell Motorsport, both Murcott and Horrell are raring for the season to kick-off.

โ€œWeโ€™re extremely excited about the opportunity of being a contracted team this season,โ€ said Horrell Motorsport owner, Dave Horrell.

โ€œRacing against the top sprintcar drivers around Australia is something weโ€™re really looking forward to.

โ€œDave Murcott has been driving for Horrell Motorsport for 5 years now, and itโ€™s great that heโ€™s representing the team in the upcoming World Series Sprintcars season.โ€

Recently, the reigning Australian Sprintcar Champion took out the opening round of the Sprintcar Track Championship at Brisbaneโ€™s Archerfield Speedway โ€“ Murcott will be looking to carry his current extraordinary form into the upcoming World Series Sprintcars season.

โ€œWithout the fantastic support of our sponsors – Mainline, Dynolog, Dynamometer, Vortex Express, Sprint Shack, Eastcoast Logistics, Oval Express, and Power Plus Fuels โ€“ this would not be possible,โ€ continued Horrell.

โ€œBoth Dave Murcott and I are looking forward to representing our sponsors this season, and we hope to have a great WSS campaign battling the best drivers around the nation.โ€

The announcement of the Australian National Sprintcar Champion is a major coup for World Series Sprintcars 2014/15.
