Elbridge, NY — (November 16, 2014) — Rolling Wheels Raceway, located in Elbridge, NY, was recently purchased by Pay-Dirt Racing and Construction Group, Inc. and is actively preparing for the upcoming racing season.

After an extended process to finalize the agreement to purchase the 5/8-mile oval, Pay-Dirt is moving forward, spearheaded by Mike LaGuzza. Mr. LaGuzza is a life-long race fan that has always dreamed about ways to make improvements and is excited to tackle those goals. A wide array of renovations and improvements are planned while still preserving the elements that make dirt racing so exciting.

Recently, Pay-Dirt brought on their first two employees, agreeing to terms with Mike Emhof and Rich Vleck. Emhof has been installed as the Director of Racing Operations while Vleck will serve as Media Director. They have worked together since 2003, most notably with the Patriot Sprint Tour, and will serve in similar capacities at RWR while maintaining their Patriot obligations.

For 2015, Rolling Wheels will once again utilize a specials only race format. Thursday Night being the primary night used about once a month featuring Big Block Modifieds, 360 Sprint Cars and Crate Sportsman. In addition, “The Fast Track” will feature a ground-breaking multi-day tournament-style event near Memorial Day Weekend.

Without a doubt, the Pay-Dirt series will be noteworthy due to the impressive payouts and incredible point funds. The exact details are still being ironed out but are sure to be announced in the near future.
