– CALIFORNIA, Mo. (July 8, 2015) – Jack Dover powered to a pair of ASCS Warrior Region victories last weekend en route to claiming the Tiger Towing Red, White and Blue Tour championship.

Dover won two of the three events and placed third in the other race to win the regional title. The victories also give him seven wins in the last 10 races.

“Everything is definitely clicking right now,” he said. “We’ve done really well racing at home in Nebraska so to head to a new state and have such great results is a big boost for our team.”

The event kicked off on Friday at Callaway Raceway in Fulton, Mo., following last Thursday’s rainout at Double X Speedway. Dover advanced from third to second place during a heat race, which earned him enough points to lock into the feature redraw. He then pulled the No. 4 during the random draw to start the 25-lap feature on the outside of the second row.

“The preferred line was around the bottom, but it was a tricky track,” he said. “You had to hit your marks and drive a smart race.”

Dover took the lead on Lap 9 only to drop to second for three laps before he regained the top spot on Lap 13. He then led the second half of the race to record the victory.

Round 2 of the weekend was hosted by Randolph County Raceway in Moberly, Mo. Dover won his heat race from the pole position to again make the feature redraw. This time he pulled the second-highest number – seven – to start the feature on the inside of the fourth row.

Dover picked up a handful of positions to post a third-place result, which marked his 12th podium of the season.

The weekend concluded on Sunday at Double X Speedway, where Dover maneuvered from sixth to second place during a heat race to lock himself into the feature redraw. He then pulled the No. 1 to garner the pole position for the 25-lap feature and never looked back.

“Track position was key so it was great to start on the pole,” he said. “It can be narrow there, especially when you’re lapping cars. I knew the first thing was to get a good start and take the lead. Then I just had to hit my marks and make good decisions in traffic.”

Dover did just that to lead all 25 laps. It was his eighth win of the season and his 10th ASCS Warrior Region victory.

The triumph also marked his 10th consecutive podium finish.

Dover returns to action this Saturday with the Carpetland Nebraska 360 Sprints and NCRA at Butler County Raceway in Rising City, Neb., where he has won twice this year.
