California driver, Justin Sanders, is in the midst of a very special season. For the fourth time in 2015, Sander swept his weekend events as he picked up his 11th and 12th wins of the year by way of his triumphs at the Ocean Speedway on Friday night aboard the JSR No. 17, and at the Marysville Raceway on Saturday night aboard the F&W Racing No. 18 machine.

“It continues to be an awesome year, and I am really happy and thankful to celebrate two more wins,” Justin Sanders said. “Week in and week out both cars are awesome, and I am just very lucky.”

Hitting the dirt at the Ocean Speedway on Friday night looking to qualify for the Johnny Key Classic that is coming up at the end of August, Sanders would go out very late in time trials and time his entry in third quickest.

Picking up a second place finish in his heat, Sanders would line up on the front row for the feature event.  Getting the early jump, Sanders would race his was to a sizeable lead as he was flanked by Dominic Scelzi, Bud Kaeding, and Andy Forsberg.

Hitting his marks as he worked around the immaculately prepared Ocean Speedway, Sanders would feel pressure from a charging Bud Kaeding late in the feature event. Racing in traffic, and slower car would force Sanders to check up and allow Kaeding to close in on him.

Keeping his composure, Sanders was able to keep Kaeding at bay as he picked up his sixth win of the season at the speedway and also locked himself into the Johnny Key Classic.

“It is awesome to have six wins at the Ocean Speedway as well as being locked into the Johnny Key Classic,” Justin Sanders said. “We would love to win this track title, but we will just focus on winning more races and let the points take care of themselves.”

Making the trip to the Marysville Raceway on Saturday night to pilot the F&W Racing No. 18 machine, Sanders would again time in third quickest during qualifications. Racing his way to a second place finish in his heat race, the Watsonville, CA driver would line up in the second row for the feature, as he looked to also grab his sixth win of the year at the Marysville Raceway.

Jumping into the second spot when the green flag waived, Sanders would race past Brad Bumgarner on the third lap to take over the race lead, and never look back. Out front, Sanders was masterful on the Marysville Raceway and showcased to the crowd why he has been so hot in 2015.

Carefully dicing his way through traffic, Sanders would never be seriously challenged on Saturday night as he picked up his 12th win overall in 2015, and completed his fourth weekend sweep of the season.

“Things are just clicking this year, and it has been a blast,” Sanders said. “We are in a good spot at the Marysville Raceway as well, but again we are just focusing on winning as many races as we can.”

ON TAP: With the Ocean Speedway dark on Friday night, Sanders will be in action on Friday night aboard the M&S Racing No. 27 entry before he searches for his seventh win at the Marysville Raceway on Saturday night.
