Orrville, OH — (May 14, 2016) — Rain throughout the week coupled with heavy rains during the pre dawn hours on Saturday, saturated the NAPA Wayne County Speedway’s grounds and with a high percentage of more rain expected during the day Saturday along with very cool temperatures forecast for the evening, Promoters Jason and Kristin Flory cancelled the evenings races. The Ohio Sprint Car Series that was to make it’s first visit to NAPA WCS, is scheduled to return on July 2nd with a $2,500 to win feature.
Saturday night, May 21st will be the Sprint Car Spectacular as the regular Fisher Performance Sprints will be joined by the Rick’s Truck & Equipment BOSS Wingless Sprints for the first of two visits by Buckeye Outlaw Sprint Series. Landon Simon was the winner of last years Wingless race. The Action Auto Body Super Stocks and the Kar Connection Rush Late Models will be in action as the Harriger Towing Super Late Models and the WQKT Mini Stocks take the night off.
