TULSA, Okla. (May 18, 2016) A Friday night under the lights at the “Historic Half-Mile” Missouri State Fair Speedway is on tap this week as the Speedway Motors ASCS Warrior Region presented by Impact Signs, Awnings, and Wraps joins up with the BOSS Chassis Wingless Auto Racing Series for an one night, open wheel spectacular with the Putnam Chevrolet Salute to Veterans Night on Friday, May 20 in Sedalia, Mo.
The second trip of the season to Missouri State Fair Speedway, this Friday’s event offers drivers a $2,500 to win, $500 to start A-Feature event for the ASCS Warrior Region. On top of a solid payout for Warrior Region teams, Putnam Chevrolet will also do a blind draw from the night’s 20 car A-Feature lineup for one driver to receive a $500 bonus.
Jonathan Cornell leads the Warrior Region standings going into Friday night at the Missouri State Fair Speedway with a 51 point lead over Cody Baker. Holding third is Evan Martin with Austin Alumbaugh and Danny Thoman rounding out the top-five. Tyler Thomas holds sixth with Jay Russell, Tyler Blank, Broc Elliott, and Chris Morgan making up the top-ten.
Friday, May 20 will also include a Fireworks show. Hot Laps begin at 6:00 P.M. (CT). Admission is $18 for adults. Seniors are $16. Kids 13-17 are only $10 and kids 12 and under get into the grandstands for free.
