From Placerville Speedway
Placerville Speedway and Thompson’s Auto Group proudly present the annual “Fan Appreciation” Race Car Show, this Saturday night, May 21st. The highly anticipated event precedes the seventh round of the 2016 Placerville Speedway Red Hawk Casino Championship Series at the El Dorado County Fairgrounds. In their first season promoting Placerville Speedway, Scott Russell and Kami Arnold have been looking forward to this event all season.
“Both Scott and I feel fortunate to be associated with Thompson’s”, stated Arnold. “Their commitment to our community is inspiring. The Thompson Family leads the way when it comes to giving back to this community and we are humbled to be included in their efforts. Ron & Jeff have been long time supporters of Placerville Speedway, and we feel this is another great event where fans can interact with their favorite drivers, kids can get autographs, and even sit in their favorite car.”
Thompson’s Buick GMC of Placerville invites you to their location on Placerville drive where race cars competing later that night at Placerville Speedway will be on display from 12pm-3pm.
All four divisions of race cars in competition that evening will be represented, featuring 360 Sprint Cars, Limited Late Model Cars, Pure Stock Cars and the Visiting Series Nor-Cal Dwarf Car Association Cars.
In addition, kids up to age of 14 will receive a free t-shirt. There will be free Hot Dogs donated by Steve Stymeist Auto Body and free sodas donated by Thompson’s Buick GMC of Placerville. Thompson’s will be accepting donations for Hot Dogs and sodas and all proceeds will benefit the El Dorado County Western Slope chapter of the Boys & Girls Club of America.
