Lebanon, Oregon- We regret to inform everyone that the races for Saturday, August 20th have been cancelled at Willamette Speedway. The decision was made due to the National Weather Service heat advisory of a forecast with extremely warm weather this weekend. That lead to the decision to cancel the races with our main concern for the health and safety of all fans, teams, and track personnel. We apologize for this last minute cancellation but believe it to be in the best interest of everyone since Willamette Speedway is a completely outdoor facility.
The $1,000.00 to win IMCA Modified race will be rescheduled for next Saturday night. The Super Late Models will be back for two nights on September 3rd and 4th for the Fall Frenzy Classic.
Willamette Speedway has two nights of racing next weekend beginning on Friday, August 26th with Kart racing. On Saturday, the 27th, the 1/3-mile gets back in action with IMCA Modifieds, Sportsman, Street Stocks, Hornets, and Dwarf Cars all racing.
We hope everyone has a safe weekend keeping cool and hydrated. Again we offer our most sincerest of apologies and will see everyone next Friday and Saturday. For more information, log on to www.trophymotorsports.com.
