HARTFORD, Ohio (September 10, 2016) — After having great weather for both the Ohio Speedweek and Lou Blaney Memorial events in June and July for the “410” Sprint Cars, Sharon Speedway was forced to cancel the non-sanctioned Sprint Car event for the second straight time on Saturday. The “410” Sprints were scheduled back on August 13 and just like on Saturday, impending storms throughout the evening have forced the cancellation of events. Saturday was also to include the final night of points for the Big-Block Modifieds, Modifieds, Econo Mods, and Mini Stocks, to be cancelled. It marked the seventh rain out of the 2016 season.
