BROCKVILLE, Ont. (July 13, 2017) — After three competitive PST Events in the province of Ontario, the A-Verdi Storage Containers Patriot Sprint Tour is set to return to the Brockville-Ontario Speedway on Saturday, July 15, and the Cornwall Motor Speedway on Sunday, July 16.
This will be the 25th time in tour history that the Patriots will be visiting Brockville, and the eighth time visiting the Cornwall Motor Speedway. Sundays race will also be the 300th event in Patriot Sprint Tour history. Ironically, this Sunday’s show will also pay $300 just to qualify. Both shows will also be $2,000 to win events.
The battle at the top of the PST Canada point standings has been close through three races as Dylan Westbrook holds a seven-point advantage over Jared Zimbardi. Chris Steele is in third with 403 points. Jake Brown and Cory Turner are separated by one point for the fourth spots with 388 and 387 points, respectively.
These two shows will be the final ‘full point’ events on the 2017 Canadian calendar with show up points being awarded at the 13th annual Canadian Sprint Nationals at Ohsweken Speedway on Saturday, September 16.
This is the second time the Patriots will be visiting Brockville this season when back in June, Rick Wilson scored his first PST victory in 11 years over Westbrook and Zimbardi. Chris Steele finished eighth that night.
Both shows will be presented by proud PST Marketing Partner, Fine Touch Collision of London, Ontario.
