OCALA, FL (February 11, 2026) – After years of winning in various levels of non-wing sprint car racing, Trey Osborn picked up his first career USAC AMSOIL National Sprint Car Series feature victory Wednesday night during Winter Dirt Games at Ocala Speedway.

The box score will show Osborne, from Columbus Ohio, led all 30-laps in the main event, but Osborne had to hold off Chase Stockon through multiple restarts and through slower traffic where they touched rear wheels and somehow didn’t go tumbling down the front stretch of the racetrack.

The victory was also vindication for Osborne at the racetrack where he flipped over the wall in 2024 and suffered a back injury that put him on the sidelines for an extended period.

“I can’t even explain this. I mean, I know it’s real, but it really doesn’t feel real,” said Osborne in victory lane. “I saw Chase my inside once and then got all up in the air. I can’t thank Larry Ebert enough for this. Industrial hydraulics Jeff Hill Trailer Sales and Hidden Hoof Hollow Farms. This is awesome!”

Osborne and Stockon started on the front row with Osborne holding a comfortable advantage, even after restarts, until getting into slower traffic with 10 laps to go when Stockon got held up by a slower car. Stockon was able to challenge when the pair made rear wheel contact coming out of turn four with nine laps to go, and somehow both drivers remained upright and kept going.

The contact did allow Logan Seavey and defending USAC Sprint Car Champion Kyle Cummins to close in and join the fight for the lead, but Osborne was able to sneak by the slower car while everyone behind him remained boxed in with five laps to go, which turned out to be the winning move for Osborne to pick up his first career USAC National Sprint Car victory.

Stockon, Seavey, Cummins, and Tuesday night’s winner at Volusia, Jake Swanson, rounded out the top five.
