Dustin Smith Edges Charging Spithaler for B.O.S.S. Win at Mercer

Dustin Smith nipped local favorite Brandon Spithaler by .014 seconds to win the Buckeye Machine Buckeye Outlaw Sprint Series event at Mercer Raceway Park. Smith’s win snapped at two-race streak for Spithaler at his home track. The evening’s exciting program was presented by R & F Sales.

Mother Nature the Winner at Mercer Raceway Park

Due to unseasonable temperatures and rain forecast for the entire afternoon, Mercer Raceway Park canceled the Saturday Night Live! program set for May 3. Action will resume at the track on May 10, when the All Stars Circuit of Champions Sprints make their first appearance of the 2014 season.

George tops Mercer Sprints

Rod George raced to victory in the 410 Sprint Car feature presented by Luxaire Heating & Cooling, Ralph Butch, Inc. and New Wilmington Motors. George’s win snapped a three-year run for Brandon Spithaler in capturing the first checkers for the winged machines at the Park.
