ISMA Supermodified regular Mike McVetta had plans to “pull the double” on Budweiser International Classic Weekend just a couple of years ago but those plans soon went by the wayside when a crash in Saturday’s Bud Light ISMA Supernationals caused any International Classic hopes to be diminished.

For the first time in Oswego Speedway’s rich history, the 350 SMAC Supermodifieds will appear at the ‘Steel Palace’ in 2018 as part of the 62nd running of Budweiser International Classic Weekend on Sunday, September 2.

For the past 31 years, the $10,000 to win Mr. Novelis Supermodified has become a trademark at Oswego Speedway as one of the must see events on the track’s schedule.

With the New Year just a day away, Oswego Speedway officials are ready to reveal the divisions and race distances for the track’s 2018 schedule set to begin with the speedway’s 68th season opener on Saturday, May 26.

For the first time, Oswego Speedway is excited to announce the addition of a ‘Family Night’ program to the track’s schedule for the 68th season of racing at the ‘Steel Palace.’

Twenty Saturdays away from the 68th consecutive season of racing at Oswego Speedway, track officials have announced the schedule and pricing for the 62nd running of Budweiser International Classic Weekend to be held Friday, August 31 through Sunday, September 2.

It had been since 2011 since the all-time points system for Oswego Speedway’s Supermodifieds had been updated, but that changed earlier this week and the new top five provided an interesting shift as well as a new all-time points leader for the first time since the mid-1990s

The Oswego Speedway Eagles Fan Club, a volunteer non-profit organization formed several years ago with the sole purpose and intent of supporting drivers and owners that compete at Oswego Speedway, will return in 2018 with a new cast of officers and assistants.

Following the release of Oswego Speedway’s 2018 schedule earlier this week, track management is pleased to announce that all active service members plus kids 16 and under attending speedway racing events in 2018 will be admitted FREE of charge with a paid adult. This excludes Budweiser International Classic Weekend.
