ASCS forgoes plan for aluminum engines in 2016

During the 2014 Performance Racing Industries Trade Show, the American Sprint Car Series unveiled plans to implement an Aluminum Block option for the 2016 racing season.

However, after several meetings with our Directors, Promoters, Car Owners, and Drivers at all levels of the American Sprint Car Series, the decision has been made to hold off on the Aluminum Block option.
