After three days of action-packed racing against the Pennsylvania Posse, the World of Outlaws traveled to Orange County Fair Speedway, the oldest continuously operated dirt track in the United States.

The Hatfields and McCoys, also known as the World of Outlaws and the Pennsylvania Posse Sprint Car drivers, are gearing up for another shootout Wed., May 14 at Lincoln Speedway before heading to Williams Grove for a doubleheader May 16-17 that includes the presentation of the coveted Morgan Cup.

By virtue of a second place finish last night at Wilmot, Wis., Joey Saldana and the Motter Equipment HE&M Saw Beltline Body Shop 71M team once again took command of the World of Outlaws point standings.

This Sunday is Mother’s Day, but before the World of Outlaws drivers head home to celebrate with mothers, wives and families, they have two pieces of business to take care of: a race at Wilmot Raceway May 9 and a Saturday night event at Tri-State Speedway in Haubstadt, Ind.

The STP World of Outlaws Sprint Car drivers will make their first ever appearance at Jacksonville Speedway Wed., May 7, and will play to a full house. All grandstand seats for the special event have been sold out.

The Motter Equipment HE&M Saw Beltline Body Shop team with Joey Saldana at the wheel entered Saturday’s World of Outlaws event at Eldora Speedway on a roll following a runner-up finish last night.

The Eldora Speedway half-mile is one of the most well-known and revered race tracks on the World of Outlaws circuit. It is most famous for hosting the King’s Royal and the Knight before the King’s Royal during the summer.

The Motter Motorsports team spent yesterday touring sponsor HE&M Saw’s Pryor, Oklahoma facility and meeting their employee family.

Dan Motter, Joey Saldana and the 71M team are looking forward to a special World of Outlaws race date Friday, April 25 at Salina Highbanks Speedway, the home track for Team Motter sponsor, HE&M Saw.

The World of Outlaws STP Sprint Car teams will return to their roots Friday and Saturday, April 18 and 19, at Devil’s Bowl Speedway for the Texas Outlaw Nationals presented by American Racing Custom Wheels.

A capacity crowd squeezed into the grandstands at El Paso Speedway Park to watch the second ever appearance of the World of Outlaws Sprint Car drivers and the greatest show on dirt.
