West Memphis, AR- November 10, 2009 – Three-time World of Outlaws Sprint Car Champion and five-time Chili Bowl midget Champion Sammy Swindell from Germantown, Tennessee is officially entered for this coming weekend’s $50,000 Hensley Suzuki USCS Fall Nationals presented by Union Auto Parts at Riverside International Speedway in West Memphis, Arkansas.
Swindell who started his storied and highly successful open wheel racing career at Riverside Speedway joins the entry list of talented sprint car drivers confirmed and expected to participate from at least 8 states at the legendary Speedway’s high banked 1/4 mile Gumbo clay oval track know for its’ tacky racing surface.
Swindell will compete in the Parts Plus United Sprint Series winged sprint car division that headlines the USCS Fall Nationals event with $10,000 up for grabs in the Flip Flop 50 (twin 25-lap) contest. The first of the double main events composing the Parts Plus USCS “Flip Flop 50” on Saturday night will start straight-up with the top qualifier from Friday night in the K&N Filters Pole Position. Both main events pay $2500 to the winner.
The second main event for the winged sprint cars will start fully inverted from the finish of the first main event with the winner of the first 25-lap feature starting 22nd in the field. There is a $5000 Bonus posted for the driver who can win the first main-event and repeat with a win the second main event from the rear of the 22 car field.
Joining the Parts Plus USCS winged sprint cars on the action-packed racing card both nights will be the Rislone USCS Modifieds, Wingless 305 Sprint Cars, 600cc Mini sprints and the popular Riverside Stock Cars racing for their portion of the $50,000 prize money.
Advanced two-day general admission tickets are available at Hensley Suzuki in Olive Branch, Mississippi. A limited number of FREE ADMISSIONS for Friday night’s race for youth age 7-12 years (regular $5) are also available at Hensley Suzuki. Coupons for discounts on two-day admissions are also available at Memphis area Union Auto Parts stores on Appling Way, Cazassa (near the Airport), Mt. Moriah, Raleigh-LaGrange road and on Veteran’s Drive in Southaven.
Adult grandstand admission tickets for Friday, November 13th are $15 for adults. Adult grandstand admission tickets for Saturday, November 14th are $20. Youth 7-12 years old are $5 each night. Children 6 years and under are FREE both nights. Two-day passes are $28 at Hensley Suzuki.
