Atlanta, GA – February 20, 2010 – The United Sprint Car series presented by Goodyear has announced its’ fifty-four (54) night 2010 Outlaw Thunder Tour schedule of events. The schedule includes races on both dirt and paved ovals. The USCS is the only winged sprint car series in the World that competes for a National Championship on both racing surface types. The schedule will take the versatile USCS winged sprint car drivers to twenty-seven different speedways in nine states.
The season opener is on dirt at Malden Speedway in Malden, Missouri as part of the 4th annual Bootheel 200 on Saturday, March 20th. A pre-season practice session is scheduled for Friday, March 19th at Malden Speedway. The season closes eight months later at Watermelon Capital Speedway on pavement on Friday and Saturday, November 26th and 27th.
Special events include the USCS Sprint Car Speedweek 2010 with six races over eight days from May 29th until June 5th. Additionally the series will contest another mini-Speedweek from July 1st until July 8th with another five races over eight days. Additional special events include the 4th Annual Gumbo Nationals at Greenville Speedway in Greenville, Mississippi on November 4th-6th and the 2nd Annual USCS Fall Nationals at Riverside International Speedway in West Memphis, Arkansas on November 12th-13th highlight the Fall racing schedule.
