CONCORD, N.C. – Jan. 6, 2011 – The World of Outlaws Sprint Car Series West Coast Spring Break in March and April will set the stage for another epic championship battle.
Golden State native Jason Meyers will be on home turf as he aims to defend his World of Outlaws championship title and build another points lead in California, where three events have been shifted from the previously released provisional schedule. The Mini Gold Cup at the Silver Dollar Speedway bullring in Chico, Calif., will now be on Saturday, March 12. The Outlaws remain in the Golden State the following weekend to tackle Giant Chevrolet Kings Speedway in Hanford, Calif., on Friday, March 18, and Thunderbowl Raceway in Tulare, Calif., on Saturday, March 19.
The series rolls into April with events Friday, April 1, at Merced Speedway and Saturday, April 2, at Calistoga Speedway before the Outlaws begin to trek east and continue building season-long momentum for the Fifth Annual World of Outlaws World Finals in November at The Dirt Track at Charlotte.
