NATIONAL SPRINT CAR MUSEUM’S BRAND-NEW SPRINT CAR RAFFLE CAR

KNOXVILLE, IOWA (July 13, 2011) – The National Sprint Car Hall of Fame & Museum will debut its state-of-the-art Eagle Motorsports winged sprint car number 9, complete with a brand-new 410-cubic-inch Don Ott Racing Engine, on Wednesday, July 13, at the Brad Doty Classic at the Limaland Motorsports Park in Lima, Ohio. Said museum executive director Bob Baker today, “No, we will not be competing in the Doty Classic with this car. It is our new National Sprint Car Museum-benefit raffle car and we are proud to be displaying it over the next seven days at the Limaland, Eldora and Lernerville speedways.”

Tickets for the biennial raffle are available for just twenty dollars each or six for one hundred dollars. The winner of the raffle will receive a state-of-the-art Eagle Motorsports winged sprint car, complete with a brand-new 410-cubic-inch Don Ott Racing Engine, and the winning ticket will be drawn on December 21, 2012. All of the proceeds from the eighteen-month raffle will benefit the 501(c)(3) non-profit museum foundation, which is based in Knoxville, Iowa. Said Baker, “The National Sprint Car Hall of Fame & Museum would like to thank Bill Mann at Eagle Motorsports, Don Ott at Don Ott Racing Engines, all of the participating manufacturers, all three tracks and the World of Outlaws sanctioning body for allowing the museum staff to display the sprint car at their events.”

The Eagle/Ott sprint car will be on display at the following events:

· Wednesday, July 13 – Brad Doty Classic, Limaland Motorsports Park, Lima, Ohio

· Friday, July 15 – Knight Before the Kings Royal, Eldora Speedway, Rossburg, Ohio

· Saturday, July 16 – Kings Royal, Eldora Speedway, Rossburg, Ohio

· Tuesday, July 19 – Don Martin Memorial Silver Cup, Lernerville Speedway, Sarver, Pennsylvania
