Sarver, PA (June 6, 2012) Following the first rainout of the 2012 Fab Four Racing season, the Action Track is forecasted for beautiful weather again this Friday, June 8 for Fire, EMS & Police Night. All service men and women with department ID will be admitted at half price ($7) as a small token of our appreciation for their dedication and service to our communities.

Kevin Schaeffer (Ti22 Sprints), Jared Miley (Precise Lates), Kevin Bolland (Diehl Mods) and Corey McPherson (Pic-A-Part Sportsman) sit atop their respective divisions’ Budweiser Point Standings, while Jack Sodeman Jr., Jared Miley, Kevin Bolland and AJ Flick won the most recent features in the respective divisions back on Friday, May 25.

The 6thAnnual Firecracker presented by GottaRace.com is just three weeks away now and pre-race hype is building at a fever pitch as local star Gregg Satterlee won the Appalachian Mountain Speedweek feature at Winchester, VA Sunday Night over a stout 58-car field. Jared Miley, as mentioned above, leads the Budweiser Points and has three feature wins in six races this season. Meanwhile, Two-Time Reigning Track Champion Dave Hess Jr. is poised to make his 2012 Action Track debut following early-season back surgery. What a story it would be if one of these young stars could match the exploits of local sprint stars Ed Lynch Jr. and Tim Shaffer, both having won the Don Martin Memorial Silver Cup against the World of Outlaws Sprint Cars.

As always, the stars and cars of the World of Outlaws Late Model Series will be on hand for three full nights of racing capped off by the $30,000-to-win Crown Jewel known as the Firecracker 100. Darrell Lanigan is painfully overdue to hoist the 40-pound Firecracker Trophy, while Defending Series Champion and York, PA native Rick Eckert would love to add Crown Jewel of his home state to his already impressive racing resume. At the moment they sit one and two in WoO LMS points!

Tim McCreadie has won preliminary Firecracker events and been close to 100-lap glory, but has yet to see it through to the checkered flag. Like Satterlee, McCreadie has found success during Appalachian Mountain Speedweek winning the feature at Roaring Knob on Monday Night and backing it up with another win Wednesday Night at Lincoln Speedway!
