Timboon, AU — (January 4, 2013) — With back to back feature wins ACT26 Tony Moule took out Round 4 of the Mainline DynoLog Dynamometers All Star Series at Simpson Speedway last night. Moule in the MCF Trailers/Argus Racing QT Chassis lead the 30 laps feature from green to checker and fought off a hard charging USA69 Danny Smith.

In front of a large crowd at the Heytesbury Stockfeeds Simpson Speedway the newly shaped race track proved to be a winner for all – drivers and fans with some fantastic racing displayed through the night with high banking and racing lines both high and low.

After winning the Pole Shoot Out and lining up in P1 USA69 Danny Smith was approached with an offer to run for an additional $1000 if he won from the rear. After talking with car owner Ken Hutchins they decided to take the offer up. An offer was then also made to the first Aussie home in front of Smith to pick up another $500.

The crowd knew they were going to be in for an awesome feature race and were certainly not disappointed, with Smith moving his way thru the traffic to 2nd place. “Dam – I wanted to win that race” Smith said afterwards. Moule commented afterwards “I knew the old …….. was behind me and was counting down the laps towards the end hoping I had enough left to take out the win.”

With 3/4 race distance completed local & regular 410 runner V70 John Vogel’s touched middle of turn 1 & 2 and bought on the reds. Vogel’s was running a good 4th place at the time. V97 Colin Brooks showed some great form and was running a steady 2nd till swooped by Smith in the final laps. Early series leader Brad Foster’s night was made difficult by tipping the V11 on its side in his 2nd heat loosing valuable points and starting for 18th in the A.

With another good drive Foster moved up to 11th place. Current Series Champion Harley Bishop made a return in the Mark Skidmore owned V71 Cool stretched limousine whilst he is still waiting to get his own engine completed. Unfortunately his night was short after mechanical issues in his first heat.
