From Bubba Raceway Park
Ocala, FL — (May 25, 2013) — The Bubba Army Sprints embarked on their new mission and Robbie Smith led them into battle. AJ Maddox spun on lap 2 and brought a caution out; the restart gave Terry Witherspoon and Matt Kurtz a shot at the #6S. On lap 17, Kurtz found his way around Smith and began to sail away, but “The Jacksonville Jet” was brought back down to earth when Tanner Witherspoon spun with 3-to-go. Fortunately for Kurtz, Smith had used his stuff up and- after a blistering 13.5 second lap- Kurtz won easily over Smith. “The Captain” Tony Agin finished 3rd, Bob Auld was a solid 4th, and Tanner Witherspoon rounded out the top 5. Maddox and Smith won their heats.
