Beaver Dam, WI — (June 11, 2013) — In typical Beaver Dam Raceway fashion, last year’s World of Outlaws STP Sprint Car Series feature was a thriller.

Kraig Kinser drove around his father, 20-time series champion Steve Kinser, on Lap 24 to earn his first victory at the high-banked oval. The Kinsers and Outlaws return for the 12th straight season on Saturday, June 29, for the 4th annual Jim “JB” Boyd Memorial.

“Beaver Dam can always be an exciting track,” Kraig Kinser said. “It’s always going to be racy and close to the corners around that place.”

Kinser became only the second Jim “JB” Boyd Memorial winner after Joey Saldana claimed the first two events, which ran his total to three career World of Outlaws STP Sprint Car Series wins at Beaver Dam Raceway.

Current championship points leader Daryn Pittman is the only other driver to record a trio of victories. Steve Kinser, Jac Haudenschild and Dave Blaney each scored a pair of wins, while Danny Lasoski, Jason Solwold, Craig Dollansky, Tim Shaffer, Donny Schatz and Mark Kinser all picked up a single victory.

“The fans, the track, track conditions; when it comes down to it, it’s the type of track I enjoy racing at,” Kraig Kinser said.
