Quincy, MI — (May 3, 2014) — A spirited duel between veteran driver Doug Zimmerman and Sprint car newcomer Chase Ridenour had the fans on there feet Saturday night at Butler Motor Speedway. 17 Winged warriors would take the green flag before the red would wave on lap 1 for a Jess Stiger tumble. Jess was ok, but was finished for the night. The restart would see Scott Euler take an early lead, while the Ridenour and Zimmerman show would begin. Zimmerman would eventually settle into the lead. Ridenour, who started 5th would make a blast past Zimmerman in turns 3 and 4 and would go on to the big win. Ridenour, who in March just turned 15 years old, was making his 7th career winged sprint car start. Rounding out the top 5 was Zimmerman, Euler, Ryan Kirkendall and Brad Lamberson.
