Making his second start of the season on Friday night at the Ocean Speedway, Tommy Tarlton ended his night just as he did during his first start; in victory lane.

“I can’t say enough about my team,” Tarlton said. “We had another great car, and were able to grab another win.”

21 cars would check in for the second round of 2015 Ocean Sprints Presented by Taco Bravo season, and Tarlton would get his night started off by timing the Elite Landscape Construciton/Tarlton and Son Inc./Tachi Palace Hotel and Casino No. 21 machine in fifth fastest during the night’s qualifying time trial.

Picking up a fourth place finish during heat race action, ‘The Night Rider’ would find his Executive Auto Sales/Pabco Gypsum/WFO Apparel entry on the front row of the feature event after the night’s redraw.

Always tough at the Ocean Speedway, Tarlton was hard on the loud pedal when the green light flashed, and raced his way to an early lead as he worked around the ‘cowboy up’ Ocean Speedway.

Hooking a rut on a pair of occasions, Tarlton flirted with disaster, but was able to keep his machine on all fours, and out in front, as he was simply dominant on this night.

Just as he did a week ago, Tarlton would not be denied, as he celebrated with his team in victory lane, as the win marked his 50th career win with crew chief, Paul Baines.

“Friday night was my 50th win with Paul Baines, and that shows how strong we are together,” he added. “This was a total team effort, and I am already looking forward to taking on the World of Outlaws in Hanford, CA on Friday night.

Tarlton Racing would like to thank Elite Landscape Construction, Tarlton and Son, Inc., Tachi Palace Hotel and Casino, Executive Auto Sales, Pabco Gypsum, WFO Apparel, Bandy and Associates, All Star Performance, Corporate America Investments, and BG Lubricants for their support through the 2015 season.
