2015 ESS Empire Super Sprints Top Story

Syracuse, NY — (may 29, 2015) — After a very successful opening Memorial Day Weekend, the traveling road show of the Lucas Oil Empire Super Sprints now heads north to the two Autodrome’s in Quebec…Granby and Drummond.

It marks the first two events for the Einstein Construction Group Canada Tour 2015 and also the Fondations 4 Saisons Quebec Series. Not only will there by hefty point funds on the line but also the 25 lap A-Mains are the largest paying full point events on the schedule.

A nice $2,000 goes to the winner on each night with $1,225 for second, $1,025 set aside for third with $500 just to take the green. If you happen to not qualify for the A-Main, you will still receive $250.

Chuck Hebing did a clean sweep with wins at Fonda and Utica-Rome but already scheduled business commitments will keep him from making the trip. The weekend’s bridesmaid was Steve Poirier on both nights and he will lead the charge in front of his hometown fans.

Americans Jason Barney, Matt Tanner, Tommy Wickham, Jeff Cook, Parker Evans, Paulie Colagiovanni, Dave Axton, Dylan Swiernik, Zach Weigand and Dan Douville are expected to make the trip across the border. Also, Pa’s Mark Smith will make his ESS debut in Patrick Vigneault’s #55.

Canada will also be well represented with the likes of Etienne Girard, Alain Bergeron, Dale Gosselin, Lee Ladouceur, Yan Bilodeau, Michael Parent, Paul Pekkonen, Alain Boisvert and Guillaume Neiderer looking to be in the field. A second Steve Poirier mount will also be in the pits with Jordan Poirier making his 360 sprint car debut.

Autodrome Granby on Friday and Autodrome Drummond on Saturday…the 32nd Anniversary Tour for the Lucas Oil Empire Super Sprints. It will be excitement guaranteed! Canada Style!!
