Kevin Swindell injured during crash at the Knoxville Nationals

Knoxville, IA — (August 13, 2015) — Kevin Swindell was injured during Thursday night’s program at the FVP Knoxville Nationals. Swindell flipped on the start of the first heat race in turn four. It was announced over the public address system that Swindell was alert talking to the Knoxville Raceway safety crew while being extracted from the car. Swindell was transported from the track by ambulance and eventually air lifted to a hospital in Des Moines. As of Friday morning there was no update on Swindell’s condition.
