The United Rebel Sprint Series will make its final appearance of the 2015 racing season at Rolling Plains Motor Speedway this Saturday night as the action heats up in the Kansas Region Points races. Zach Blurton currently holds a slim ten point lead over Luke Cranston for the Kansas Region Title. As the season winds down every race is important for scoring points towards the Championship
The points battles go on all through the standings with Brain Herbert just fourteen points ahead of Huish for the fourth spot with Zac Taylor forty points behind them in the sixth spot. Jake Bubak, Lance Davis and Tracey Hill are only separated by thirty points battling for the seventh through ninth positions. Behind them tenth through twelfth spots are being contested by Steven Richardson, Koby Walters and Jordan Randles with forty points separating the trio.
Hays is one of the Rebels favorite tracks to run at with Koby Walters, Steven Richardson and Zach Blurton picking up victories at the 3/8’s mile oval in the first three events this season. The high banks always provide two and three wide racing action that is guaranteed to keep you on the edge of your seat all night long. It looks to be a great night of racing action as the 2015 URSS racing season winds down and the drivers look to move up or work on solidifying their point positions.
Joining the URSS Sprint Cars on the racing program will be IMCA Hobby Stocks, IMCA Sport Compacts, The Wacky Cruisers and the always fun to watch School Buses. The Pits open at 4:00 pm, Grandstands at 5:00 pm and the racing action kicks off at 7:00 pm sharp.
