PMG welcomes Laurel Belton as Secretary/ Treasurer for 2017 season

APTOS, Calif. (December 7, 2016) – Prentice Motorsports Group would like to announce that long-time racing official Laurel Belton has assumed the position of Secretary/ Treasurer for the organization going into the 2017 season.

Belton has been involved and worked with groups such as the King of the West 410 Sprint Car Series, the Civil War 360 Sprint Car Series presented by Flowmaster and the Northern Auto Racing Club in the past. Her & husband Dan have been common sights in the pit area throughout the years around Northern California.

This coming season she will handle all PMG driver & team payout, membership & driver info, be at the track each night to answer questions that may come up, as well as handle phone calls & emails throughout the year.

“We felt that moving forward having one person in charge of these duties was in the best interest of PMG and the race teams,” said Prentice Motorsports Group President John Prentice. “We realize that we needed to improve in these areas so that’s where Laurel Belton comes in. She has been involved in the sport for a long time and is a great person to handle the payout and work with the teams at the track to answer questions during the night, as well as be the person who will answer the phone, return calls and emails.”

Schedules for Prentice Motorsports Group will be out in the coming weeks, including the King of the West 410 Sprint Car Series, the Civil War 360 Sprint Car Series presented by Flowmaster, the Ocean Sprints presented by Taco Bravo, Ocean Speedway, the Wingless Sprint Car Series presented by Joe Hunt Magnetos and the IMCA West Coast Modified Series.

A number of exciting things will be taking place in 2017, with all of that being firmed up in time for the official launch of schedules.
