SEBASTOPOL, CA 03-16-10 – For the past two years, Sebastopol’s Bradley Terrell has been a top contender in the Petaluma Speedway All Pro Championship and has always been a factor in the California Sprint Car Civil War Race Series. Now, it’s time to start a brand new year at Terrell racing and the team is looking forward to starting the season this Saturday night as the Civil War Series opens at Placerville Speedway in Placerville, California

Last year, Terrell was best known for his stellar run in the Petaluma Speedway All Pro Championship where he finished second place in the competitive tour despite a damaging accident in the final weeks of the season that cost him a great deal of valuable points and could have very well pushed him out of the bridesmaid position.

This Saturday, Terrell returns to the driver’s seat of his family owned #43 sprint car to begin another exciting season in Northern California. The young driver hopes to run the entire Civil War Sprint Car Series tour if sponsorship permits him to do so. Additionally he plans on starting the 2010 racing season aboard his own mount in Petaluma next month for another run at the coveted title on the tacky North Bay speedway.

“I am really looking forward to the 2010 season and picking up where I left off. Hopefully if things go our way we can take it a step further, ” said Terrell. “We are looking forward to starting off the Civil War Series this weekend. The opener at Placerville always draws a lot of cars and tears many up as everyone is looking to get a strong start. I’m hoping we can have good run and then be ready for Chico next week.”

Following his opener at Placerville this Saturday, Terrell plans on travelling to the likes of Silver Dollar Speedway March 26-27 for the annual Silver Cup race. This annual event is a favorite for area 360 sprint car drivers as it is the first two day race of the year for the division in Northern California.

Bradley Terrell is grateful for his continued supporters for the 201o racing.. Among his marketing partners are Argonaut Const, Millhouse Glass, the Dry Creek Rancheria Band of Pomo Indians, Randy Hanson Auto Body and Paint. Vanlare Steering Repair, A1 Shower and Mirror Incorporated, DK Embroidery, Knockout Signs, Santa Rosa Moving & Storage, Altes Engineering, and 4 Wheel Parts. The team continues to seek additional sponsorship for the year to come to insure a competitive campaign throughout Northern California.

“I would love to race the entire Civil War series and make a good run at the Petaluma Championship this year,” added Terrell. “To do so competitively we need to have sponsorship so hopefully we can pick up another sponsor or two as we start the year.”
