McKENZIE, TN (March 31) – A pair of J&J Auto Racing competitors were victorious in Sprint car action last weekend. Tyler Bear and Jamie Maiolo scored wins in Pennsylvania and Western Australia respectively behind wheel of a J&J.
PORT ROYAL SPEEDWAY
Tyler Bear picked up his first feature victory of the season last Saturday night at Port Royal Speedway. Bear piloted the No. 25 J&S Fabrication sponsored J&J to victory in the 20-lap 305 Division feature event. The Ickesburg, PA native led the final seven laps of the feature event.
AUSTRALIAN SOUTHERN THUNDER SPRINTCAR SERIES CHAMPIONSHIP
Jamie Maiolo put on another strong performance racing his No. 99 J&J to victory in last Saturday night’s Hydraulink Southern Thunder Sprintcar Series Championship at Bunbury City Speedway in Western Australia.
Maiolo capitalized on his victory in the dash event to start the feature event on the front row. He led every lap, setting a blistering pace en route to the win. The victory helped Maiolo clinch his second series championship.
Luch Monte, pilot of the Monte Motorsport No. 17 Miracle Recreation Equipment sponsored J&J, won both of his heat races early in the night and raced from eighth to finish fifth in the feature event.
