World of Outlaws sprint car driver Joey Saldana put together a pair of consistent runs, finishing first and second on consecutive nights, and pulled closer to the top of the of the series standings.
Saldana finished second to Jac Haudenschild at Paducah International Raceway and won at I-55 Speedway.
Goodyear is the exclusive tire supplier for the rear wheel positions on WoO sprint cars. The front wheel positions are open to competition between tiremakers, but most teams use Goodyear tires up front as well.
Haudenschild’s victory was his first of 2010 and the 52nd of his career. Saldana finished second in the race after posting the quickest time during time trials. Sammy Swindell, Jason Meyers and Donny Schatz rounded out the top five.
Saldana started 13th at I-55 and led the final five laps after grabbing the lead on a restart. Craig Dollansky took second, followed by Jason Sides, Jac Haudenschild and Steve Kinser.
Meyers leads the series with 1,722 points and Saldana is second with 1,705.
