SYRACUSE, NY – For the second consecutive season, the Cornwall, Ontario, Canada based WestFront Construction will be backing the hard charger awards for the Lucas Oil Empire Super Sprints (ESS). The driver that advances the most positions during each A-Main will receive $50 cash and at the annual awards banquet $1,000 will be split up among the top three in the hard charger points, thanks to the successful company owned by the McDonald family.

WestFront Construction has sponsored dashes and A-main’s in the past but now are at home as the title sponsor for the hard charger award.
Two-time Lucas Oil ESS champion Steve Poirier made a late season charge to nip Tommy Wickham in capturing his second hard charger title in a row. Following the leading duo was defending champion Justin Barger.
